My new Apple TV arrived yesterday. It was great opening the tiny box, because it’s stuffed with enough magic ego dust to make an entire high school marching band feel cool.
It is also black. Black is sexy.
I don’t subscribe to cable, in fact I don’t even watch television, but the Apple TV is still going to change my life. I can finally relocate my iMac to my office, and still listen to my music and watch videos in my living room. Also, the photo slideshows are amazing. Crisp, clear, great color reproduction, and very smooth animation and transitions. Between the slideshow features and the ability to play ambient videos, this little $99 box has transformed my TV into a work of dynamic visual art.
Also, black is sexy.
